To accompany our Isis Blend, we have formulated an Osiris Balm. This is perfect for any masculine Egyptian ritual, Fertility rite, or for helping with grief felt at the passing of a loved one.

Since this is a good fertility ointment try dabbing a little on your garden gates to help your garden bloom gloriously and putting a small amount on your houseplant pots encourages growth.

In addition Osiris was the Lord of the Dead so this is also an excellent salve to use on Samhain to aid you in communicating with those who have passed from this incarnation. Just put a little on your body to enhance your ability to see through the veil.

Osiris Osiris, a legendary king of Egypt, believed to have introduced agriculture to the country, was murdered and dismembered by his brother Seth .

The pieces were collected by his wife Isis who gave them new life. Thereafter Osiris was worshipped both as a fertility god who ensured the rebirth of vegetation each spring and as Lord of the underworld, through whom all live again.

Osiris sat at the entrance to the underworld. Only those who could satisfy him of their goodness during life gained admission. thus all made offerings to Osiris in hope of his favor.

Osiris is usually shown as a crowned king, holding a crook and a flail. He is usually depicted green, the Egyptian color of death.
